Discrete Wavelet Transform
Implement the discrete wavelet transform described in the text. To make matters simpler, use the Haar basis functions. Assume that the image is square with a power of 2 in each dimension. For example, you may use the moon images (moon1.img, moon1.tif, moon1.gif, or moon2.img, moon2.tif, moon2.gif) or crop some other images to suit. You should produce an image simular to Figure 7.23 of the text as output.Inverse Wavelet Transform (optional)
For extra credit, implement the inverse wavelet transform.E-mail your programs and solutions to cs545m_ta@cs.wpi.edu.
