Tenure Track Faculty Positions

The Computer Science Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites applications for one or possibly two tenure track positions. The positions will be at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in August 1997. Preference will be given to candidates with research interests in the areas of computer networks and operating systems, or user interfaces and multimedia. Excellent candidates in other areas will be considered. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field, and strong interests in both research and teaching.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the nation's third oldest college of engineering and science, has approximately 2,700 undergraduate and 1,000 part- and full-time graduate students and 200 faculty.
