Awards for Faculty Papers

The CS Department is very pleased to announce that papers by Profs. Mark Claypool and Karen Lemone have won awards at conferences recently.
Mark Claypool's paper, "On the 802.11 Turbulence of Nintendo DS and Sony PSP Hand-held Network Games", received the Best Paper Award at the Fourth ACM Network and System Support for Games (NetGames), Hawthorne, NY, USA, in October 2005. Read the paper online...
Karen Lemone's paper, "Analyzing Cultural Influences on ELearning Transactional Issues", has been selected to receive an Outstanding Paper Award at E-Learn 2005, Vancouver, BC, Canada, in October 2005. Ten of 800 paper submissions received the award this year.
