New CS Research Faculty
The Computer Science Department is pleased to announce that two outstanding research faculty are joining the Department, both working with Prof. Neil Heffernan on his Intelligent Tutoring Systems research.
Dr. Janice Gobert is Research Associate Professor, coming to us after working at the Concord Consortium. She is a cognitive scientist by training and will be working on Assistments and science education.
Dr. Joseph Beck comes to us from the CMU School of Computer Science as a Research Scientist focusing on educational data mining.
