Profs Kinicki and Fisler promoted

The department is very pleased to announce that two professors have recently been promoted.
Prof. Kathy Fisler has been awarded promotion to Associate Professor of Computer Science, with Tenure.
Kathy Fisler holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University. Her areas of research interest are formal methods in computer-aided verification and diagrammatic reasoning. In 2004 she was presented with the WPI Moruzzi Young Faculty Award for Innovation in Undergraduate Education. She started at WPI in August 2000.
Prof. Bob Kinicki has been awarded promotion to Full Professor.
Bob Kinicki holds an M.S. from Indiana University and a Ph.D. from Duke University, both in Computer Science. His areas of research interest are network management, computer system performance evaluation, and computer networks. He served from September 1988 to June 1998 as CS Department Head. He started at WPI in September 1978.
