An Introduction to Public Key Cryptography

Some of the motivations for public key cryptography will be presented, along with an overview of one of the common implementations. The majority of the presentation will be spent on protocols for using this implementation to solve a number of problems, such as digital signatures, timestamping documents, zero-knowledge passwords and electronic voting.
