Four professors who are new to WPI will present overviews of their current research and problems being worked on.

Summary of research interests:

Prof. Agu:: Computer graphics, photorealistic rendering, appearance models, modeling natural phenomena, iridescence in artificial/natural surfaces and animals, mobile computing, wireless protocols, 2D and 3D graphics in mobile environments. .
Prof. Colon Osorio
Prof. Dougherty:
Prof. Heffernan:: Artificial intelligence, particularly intellgent tutoring systems, cognitive modeling, and dialog baed systems; also data mining as it applies to intelligent tutoring systems.
