Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Chris Manton, Software Engineer, will talk about scalability, harnessing the power of data and innovation at Google.

Chris has been a Software Engineer at Google for two and one-half years primarily designing and building the thousands of servers that power Google services. Previously, he worked at several embedded system startups in various industries such as network traffic monitoring, web acceleration and business software protocol routing. He also worked at Silicon Graphics developing next generation network technology for high speed switched networks. Chris has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has furthered his education in the Stanford Computer Science Master's program.
