Discrete Mathematics Day At WPI

On Saturday, May 3, 2003, WPI hosted Discrete Mathematics Day At WPI.
This was the fifth in the series of Discrete Mathematics Days. Others were held at URI, University at Albany, UMass and Dartmouth College.
The speakers were:
Laszlo Babai, University of Chicago; Dan Dougherty, Worcester Polytechnic Institute; F. Bruce Shepherd, Bell Labs; Herbert Wilf, University of Pennsylvania; and Qing Xiang, University of Delaware.
The Local organizers were Peter Christopher (MA), Beth Donovan (CS), William Martin (MA & CS), and Stanley Selkow (CS). The event was supported by WPI's Provost's Office, the Department of Mathematical Sciences, the Department of Computer Science, and the Center for Industrial Mathematics and Statistics, as well as the National Security Agency.
