Another Best Paper Award
The CS department is very pleased to announce that the paper:
Mark Claypool, P. Le, M. Waseda & David C. Brown,
"Implicit Interest Indicators",
IUI 2001: International Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces,
Santa Fe, New Mexico, January 2001,
won the award for Best Paper. The paper was presented at the conference by David Brown.
The paper reported work done by Phong Le, Makoto Waseda in their "Curious Browsers" MQP last year (see http://www.cs.wpi.edu/~claypool/mqp/iii/ for more details).
IUI 2001 is the annual meeting of the intelligent interfaces community and serves as the principal international forum for reporting outstanding research and development on intelligent user interfaces.
