Intelligent User Interfaces
Overview
About this project
I am doing this project as an independent study. I have had an interest in
intelligent interfaces for a while, but I didn't think about doing a project
until I saw a master's thesis proposal posted by Prof.
Brown and Prof. Wills. I'm not a
master's student, so I wasn't about to do a thesis on the topic, but I thought
that if Prof. Brown and Prof. Wills had an interest in the topic, they might
entertain my desire to do a project on intelligent interfaces. Well, here I
am!
Requirements
The following will be the requirements for this project:
- An annotated bibliography of the existing literature.
- A 10-15 page paper on intelligent interfaces: what they are, how they are
used, how they can be used in the future, etc. See some thoughts I have so far.
- A program, demonstrating intelligent interface techniques.
This work I will be doing will make this project equivalent to a 4000-level computer
science class.

Every week, on my timeline, goals, and achievements
page, I will list goal I have, as well as things I have actually done.
Additional information
- The work for this project will be placed on the Web.
- I hope to be able to demonstrate my program at an AIRG meeting later this year.
