At the end of today's class you should
KNOW:
- how an illegal opcode exception is handled by the LC-3
- what is meant by a "privilege mode exception" and how that
exception is handled by the LC-3
BE ABLE TO:
- use the LC-3 state machine (Figures C.2 and C.7) to describe
what happens when the processor detects an exception

List the two conditions that must be true in order for a
privilege mode exception to occur (refer to Figure C.7)
