Overview
The Bravado project is developing a web-enabled BRDF viewer which allows users to easily explore BRDF models. The viewer is being built in Java3D to allow easy access over various platforms. 3D visualizations of the BRDF model distribution will be displayed as well as observing their effect on a photorealistic scene. BRDF models used include:
- Empirically derived models (e.g. Phong)
- Analytical models
- Physically-based models
- Microfacet models
- Measured models (with access to freely available measurement databases)
- Spectrally-variant models
- Models for motion blur
