My highschool math teacher, Mrs. Fimia Barsan, once told me that I would become a teacher. I still don't have a clue why she said that. I can remember however that I strongly disagreed with her. Just like every teen-ager bit by the "computer bug", I wanted to become nothing less than a computer professional. And I pursued this dream of mine untill I first was asked to teach. That was when I realized that I wanted to teach. I still love to write software and to do what I would call research, but teaching is what I enjoy most. I may not be a good teacher. I may not ever become one. But loving what I do should help a lot...


Since 1984 I have taught undergraduate and graduate level courses at "Babes-Bolyai" University, Cluj, Romania and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA, USA and professional courses at ICI Bucharest, Romania, ITC Cluj, Romania and the Continuing Education Center at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
