Abstract

Juniper Networks develops and markets networking devices along with service agreements. To provide a better customer experience, Juniper Networks maintains large datasets of articles. Each of these articles can be long and verbose. By having a text summarization tool, Juniper Networks can summarize their articles to save company's time and resources. The goal of this Major Qualifying Project was to create a text summarization tool which can help summarize documents in Juniper's datasets. Following the goal, we developed a deep learning model for text summarization and trained it on Juniper's datasets. Using the trained models, we created an end to end web application which can take an article as input and generate a summary.
