A brush is a an object that can be set for a device context and determines the fill colour and style for subsequent drawing operations.

wxBrush colour

string colour

The colour of the brush. It may be a wxWindows colour string such as "BLACK'', "WHITE'', "CYAN'' etc.

The style of the brush. It may be one of:

• wxSOLID (the default)
• wxTRANSPARENT
• wxBDIAGONAL_HATCH
• wxCROSSDIAG_HATCH
• wxFDIAGONAL_HATCH
• wxCROSS_HATCH
• wxHORIZONTAL_HATCH
• wxVERTICAL_HATCH

Creates a brush for use in a device context. A brush must be set to fill graphic shapes.

The following slots must be initialized:

• colour is a wxWindows colour string such as "BLACK'', "CYAN'').
• style may be a value such as wxSOLID or wxTRANSPARENT (see style for complete list).
